Energy consumption
Requirements for energy consumption 1st January 2007
The building regulation’s new requirements for energy consumption from 1st January contain increasing requirements for roof windows and roof glazing systems as the maximum U-value is not allowed to exceed 2.0W/m²K.
Naturally, Vitral meets the new legislation as we must also be responsible for the environmental impact our solutions may have on our customers' buildings.
The VRS line in stainless steel is more than qualified according to the legal requirements as it has a U-value of 1.45W/m²K with Super Low E 1.1 windows. Therefore you can with respect for the environment choose the elegant and environmentally friendly VRS panels in brushed stainless steel for your next building project.
If you are starting on a project which has no requirements for the U-value, e.g. in unheated rooms, you can choose either the elegant VRS panels or the GTS panels in aluminium.
If you have questions to which panels to choose, please contact one of our professional consultants.
