VRS Vertical




Construction:

Constructed using VRS roof glazing panels the VITRAL vertical solution is a double glazed system that can incorporate a wide range of glass specifications.  The vertical glass surface can have every second panel as outward opening panel, with no visible difference in sightlines between fixed and opening panels. 

Opening panels can be fitted with a range actuators and control systems to allow comfort and/or smoke ventilation.  Each panel spans freely between head and cill, secured at the head with a hinge and at the base with brackets.
The panels are rectangular or with sloping top frame. Frame width 48mm.

Measurements and pitch:

  • Slope, vertical 90°
  • Module measurements  270 - 1200mm
  • Panel height up to 3200mm

Top-hung outward opening:

  • Opening angle up to 45°
  • X1 panels can be opening panels

 

Bottom-hung outward opening:

  • Opening angle up to 45°
  • Always  placed between to fixed panels
  • Module measurements 450 - 1200mm

 

Vertical models:

  • Vertical glass surfaces can be worked out with 1, 2, or 3 panels placed above one another.
  • 90° outside corners
