The hip profiles transfer the forces from the 4 faces onto the cill to make the pyramid self-supporting.
Measurements and Pitches:
-
Slope, glass roof 25° - 60°
-
Panel sizes, see 2.4.08
-
Angle with roof footing, in the horizontal plane, must be 90°
-
The roof pitch must be the same, on all four sides
-
Panel width, must be the same on either side of the hip
Top-hung outward opening:
- Opening angle up to 45°
- Always placed between to fixed panels and
the surface need an unequal no. of panels.
