Annex B - Coefficient of Discharge
This Annex measures the efficiency of the vent in getting smoke to pass through it.
This efficiency is called the coefficient of discharge (Cv) and is measured by placing a sample vent into a wind tunnel. The results are then extrapolated for different sizes of vent in the range.
